Mah sweet peas
Anyone who stumbled into my back garden might be forgiven for thinking it was owned by an elderly lady with bad eyesight: I've got peonies, hydrangeas, roses and little daisies spilling out of every edge and border in varying shades of pink and purple. However, one of my real superstars this year have been the sweet peas climbing up the unsightly fence. Thanks to a warm, sunny spring they are absolutely upstaging all the other flowers in the garden (and between you and me, that is saying something). So pretty in a little absinthe glass on a sunshiny table too.
