Well, here I am, kid-less in the house for the first time in three years. Isabelle started preschool today, and even though we were all ready to go, and excited to wear our uniform and be at school with the other kids, it sure was a big moment for everyone. I don't know whose knuckles were whiter at the school door, Isabelle's or mine, but until we saw the little panda sticker next to Isabelle's coat peg and knew it would be okay, we were a bit nervous. Personally, I didn't know they let little babies go to school, but the teachers and other students seemed not to notice that Issy is only a little tiny baby (actually, she's half a head taller than the other kids we met), so I guess it's going to be okay.
She's been gone for 90 minutes now. Only another 90 until I can go pick her up.

Daddy wishing us good luck from France.
Sassy new uniform!
You can't really tell, but there are special flashing bits on Isabelle's shoes. Fancy! There's nothing like a little sparkle to brighten up a gray uniform!
