To thee we'll e'er be true

My interview for Billy's American passport at the US Embassy, London today:

Embassy official: Where were you born?

Me: Joliet, Illinois.

Embassy official: Where did you grow up?

Me: Joliet, Illinois.

Embassy official: Where did you go to high school?

Me: Joliet, Illinois.

Embassy official: Where did you go after high school?

Me: I went to Illinois State University.

Embassy official: And after that?

Me: I moved to Chicago for seven years, and then briefly back to Joliet.

Embassy official: And you were married in….?

Me: Joliet, Illinois.

Embassy official: When you go back to the States, where do you go?

I guess this proves that you literally can't take the Joliet out of the girl......
