A few weeks later and we are still coming down off the sugar high of our Halloween party. Is and about 10 of her school friends rocked out to Monster Mash and Little Shop of Horrors, and we all had a terror-ific time celebrating our favorite spooky holiday.
Little Bo Peep....
...and her sheep, in the costume Issy wore when she was two. He refused to wear the hat or have his nose painted black like a real lambie, but he was e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y squeezable anyway.
A spooky welcome to our house!
(baking paper) ghosts leaking out of the window frames...
When you play "Pin the Wart on the Witch" you play for keeps.... Did not expect the high level of accuracy on this game and we ran out of prizes thanks to the tie in the first round.
Everyone enjoyed playing "Wrap the Mummy", except the English kids all thought that "mummy" meant me (the "Mum") and not this guy.
The only full-body photo we got of the Little Bo Peep costume, which by the way took fully 72 hours to make from an actual historic reproduction pattern, and which Isabelle wore for approximately three hours, popping two seams in the process. She was adorable, anyway. It was totally worth it.
