When it's gone, it's gone

I reached for my one box of Velveeta this afternoon to make toasted cheese sandwiches for lunch, to discover it was all gone. Despite having a shelf life longer than TIRES, once it's opened it doesn't last forever, and the box I thought was my "spare" was actually the original, and the cheese inside had turned to a hard, plasticated rock.

Instead, I had to use REAL cheese and REAL bread to make lunch.... and boy, were the sandwiches disgusting. It's less than a month 'til we're in America, and I can replenish my supply. Will I be able to hang on until then?
