Autumn Color: Foraged Bouquet
You wouldn't believe the weather we've been having. Honest-a-god, it's more like April than December, warm enough to go foraging for a few branchy thingies to pull into an autumn bouquet. We're lucky enough to have a bit of wilderness nearby (remember, I live in a major world city; go figure) with all sorts of things coming into bloom at different times of the year, and so last week I went out and gathered some hawthorn and maple branches to decorate the mantel for Thanksgiving. So pretty!
