Halloween 2012. Our favorite holiday of the year. We spooked each other out, with a flurry of trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving and costume wearing.
How can you not love a fancy witch and a baby chicken?:

Both these costumes, were, by the way, handmade. The chicken by me (you may remember Isabelle in the same costume on her first Halloween), and the fancy witch by my awesome sister Susan. There's nothing like trick-or-treating in a handmade costume! All the ooh's and aaah's you get are definitely worth the sewing.
