We are all having good times together, although we miss Jules who is away in France this week. Grandma has been showing Mommy a thing or two about baby care, and she's the fastest bath-giver and diaper changer on the block! Issy is glad to be in the hands of a professional, for a change.
Among other fun things we've done since last Thursday (when they arrived) is to finally get the garden dining table into its rightful place on the patio. Long time coming, eh? Thanks to a few hours of real sunshine, we were also able to take our coffee and cake outside, and actually eat there.
We imagined having a fun summer of outdoor dining, but thanks to the nasty weather, this is the first time we've been able to use the table for its intended purpose (ie to have food on it). Ah well. Maybe next summer things will be nicer.
