Things I Love Thursday: Seed Catalogues

Is there anything that brings about Spring earlier than a seed catalogue? It doesn't matter how gray the winter clouds outside are, as long as you have a seed catalogue in the house, it's high summer and your backyard is immense and sunny all day long. Simply looking at pictures of huge, mop-headed dahlias is enough to brighten even the lowest of spirits, and dreaming about how you'll cram poppies, delphiniums, strawberries and giant tomatoes into your little plot will take your mind off the weeks and weeks of cold weather still to come. This year I'm thinking stargazer lilies, a patio-sized butterfly bush, and possibly apple and cherry trees. What about you?
