One of my fondest memories of childhood are the handful of beautifully illustrated Tasha Tudor books that people had given Susan and me as gifts. I think I probably read "A is for Annabelle" more times and with more real satisfaction than I've read, well, anything. In fact, I read it again over Easter. That book just doesn't age. So it is with great sadness that I learned Tasha Tudor died yesterday, age 92. There's a really nice tribute
here at Jezebel magazine.
